    Great wing pose. Beautiful light and color in the sky. It looks a bit soft on my monitor.

    Agree with Markus, a bit soft. Is that heavily cropped?
    If you have a lot of room, try to make the left wing start from top left, and right wing extends toward bottom right, I prefer that type of framing.

    I have yet to have luck getting the shots of eagles flight like that.

    Hi Ursula:

    What a stunning topside view of this Bald Eagle. Love the detail and the fanned wings and tail feathers. You have just enough head angle to make it work. I think I would take a little off the left side to place the bird a little less centered.

    This is not an easy shot to get, esp handholding a 500. Good for you! Keep them coming.

    Thank you for your comments. The photo is cropped a little, although I think I could have gotten a crisper shot using a tripod and/or faster shutter speed.
