    Jason:

    A bit of a different habitat image for the GBH.
    Your bird is sharp and well exposed.

    I tried a couple of virtual crops to simplify the image. Might consider coming up about 1/3 of the way towards his feet, with a small amount off the top too.

    Personal choice really.

    Look forward to more.

    Randy, thanks for the input. I'm definitely still learning all about this stuff.

    Sadly I had some excellent shots of him fishing after this but with the 300 and the 2X they came out muddy as the sun was going down. I really need to get that 500!
