Manjesh--I really like this one! Great pose and control over the dof.
Great light--if it could go a bit brighter?

    Hi Bonnie

The brightness looks good on my monitor. It is the late evening warm light on the bird. I keep my white balance on the camera to cloudy in these times to give a feeling of warmth. I did increase the brightness as you suggested, but it looses the impact.

Sweet light Manjesh, and you have captured some fine detail from the underwings. Lovely warm colours too. Comp wise, I would maybe add a tad to the LHS, and take a bit off the top and right.

I like the pose and dof in this lovely image. Here is a repost with a few changes applied:
    1. Levels adjustment.
    2. Cooling filter.
    3. Boosting contrast.
    4. Cropping a bit off the top and right to move the bird a bit higher in the frame.
    5. Converting from Adobe RGB to sRGB for web presentation.

    Would love to hear feedback,

    Cheers,
    Ofer

    Hi Manjesh

Love the landing pose and light These guys can be spectacular at the right time as in this image Find the color/brightness just perfect. Ofer's repost takes the mood but does make another valid image and very impressive in its own right .. excellent PS work !!!

    Hi Ofer

The image looks way better than the one I posted. For me, I try to keep photoshop optimisation to a minimum and try to capture most things in camera. This provides me more satisfaction for some reason. Even the adjustments made by you looks wonderful, the bird and the sky did not look like this when I took the shot.
Also, agree with you on the cropping.

I also looked at your website. You are a very talented photographer. Images are stunning. I highly recommend anybody to visit your site.

    Thanks

Great timing and I love the soft evening light. A very sharp image with good exposure and I like the slightly turned head giving us some beautiful eye contact. Fine work Manjesh !!

    Hi Manjesh,
I am pleased you like the repost and thank you for the kind words.
In digital, post processing is an integral part of creating the image and there is really no way around it. Getting a perfect image in the camera is something that simply can not be done.
As a professional photographer who photograph people for a living I take thousands of photos every week. Each and every one needs to be photoshoped.
    Cheers,

    Ofer ;)
