    Ethiopian Wolf

    Endemic to the mountains of Ethiopia and in serious danger, less than 500 survive in fragmented populations. Although they look a little fox-like, they are closely related to timber wolves.

    Shot at the Sineti Plateau, Bale Mountains, at 4,000m altitude.

    Canon 1D MkIII, Canon 800 f/5.6; 1/1250s @ f/5.6, exp -0.3, ISO 400

    Congrats, nicely done! Great subject. I watched a documentary on Ethiopian Wolves a few months ago, really interesting animal.
