    Default Venice Update

    Went to Venice rookery this morning on my trip around the state. Many herrons and egrets sitting on nests in full plummage. Also there were the normal commorants and anhingas. While it was my first time there, a couple gentlemen that I met said the activity was about average for this time of year.

    Just wanted to share in case anyone is thinking about heading that way anytime soon.
