Canon 1DMkIII on Canon 400mm DO handheld.
Always find it a challenge to ensure enough light underwing when taking images against bright sky. All help/ideas to ensure good results every time would be welcomed.
Also I note the image on the BPN site is pale and flat compared to the original on my Eizo calibrated monitor. Why might this be so?
I am liking my 400 DO too. As for the dark underwings, best tip that I can give is that when you use SH/H be sure to move the Mid-tone contrast slider about 6-8 points to the right. I like the talons-down pano and wish that I could see it much bigger so I could better see the face. Later and love, artie
