    Default Northern Hawk Owl

    Today I went in search of the Northern Hawk Owl near Cobden, we spotted him, but he was a long way out in a field. Waiting in the truck, he finally began to move closer to the road...I know its a high angle image but sometimes you take what you get.
    Although ;) I can't say where he can be found, it should be pretty easy to find, look carefully at the image.
    Cobden is about 1.5 hours north on Hwy. 17 from Ottawa.
    Still no sign of the Great Gray Owl, reported to me 10 days ago...

    Always seem to get the steep angle because they are perched so high. Glad you found this owl. I have never even seen this species before.
