    From my backyard setup using a feeder and hide.

    40D
    300mm 2.8
    1.4 TC
    ISO 320
    1/125 sec
    f/4.5
    +1/3 EC

    Processing with ACR and CS4. Cloned out a tip of the perch that extended above the bird, cleaned up the beak and brightened/sharpened the eye.

    Very nice Joel, I might add a bit more canvas to the bottom. Sharp and well exposed with good details.

    Nice woodpecker species. More room on the top and a little more on the bottom would make it a better image?

    Nice pose and detail. BG compliments the bird. Space on top is okay for me, a little tight on the bottom.
