    This Great Blue was not ready to have it's photo taken. Taken with a Nikon D2Xs with 600mm with 1.4 tele converter at at F7.1 at 1/30 sec.

    Nice portrait and bad hair day indeed. :) I would prefer a lower angle and the head turned more toward you. You could also sharpen a bit more and add some canvas at the right side.

    Fully agree with Axel Head turn will make a huge difference !!!!

    In lieu of a head turn you could have moved to your right to get the head more parallel (assuming that you could preserve that sweet background. lal, artie
