    Made this image last week in Bangalore.

    Gear : Canon40D, Canon EF 500 f/4+1.4E: Hand held
    EXIF : f/10, ISO 400, 1/320, -2/3, Aperture priority.

    Hole in treee frames owl nicely. Could have opened up here for more ss as you don't need a lot of dof for this image. Not sure on canon bodies but would think you would not need the neg ec here as owl is a little dark. A little crop from top and sides would help IMHO. Image is worth a little tweaking. TFS

    Nicely framed in the tree hole, and love the stare. I agree, alittle more exposure on the owl will work, and Todd's idea of cropping from the top is good.

    I like the stare and shape of the tree. Another vote for putting the bird higher in the frame and I would lighten the owl using curves.

    Hi Subramanya, I love owls and you have a good looking one here. I like the setting and the stare. Good comments above. I took you image into photoshop and attempted to lighten. I also cropped some from the top. I used curves as Axel suggested. I hope you like it.
