    Another image from the afternoon I spent at the Inlet, some of the Pelicans were using the incoming swells to get airborne.

    40D, 300f/4 +1.4TC, 1/1000 at f/6.3, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metered - 1/3, Raw, ISO 400, Hand Held, Cropped (about 60% of original)

    Great timing don and I love the splash and lighting in this one. Looks like a slight CWR might be needed. Many thanks for sharing.

    Nice one, Don! A bit more room in the upper right is in order I think. I like the dynamics here! I guess those big birds need all the help they can get to go airborne.

    Don, just love the perspective here - looks like he's about to fly through the screen. I like the wingspread, and take off splash. Good show of the eyes too. The slanting wave doesnt bother me, as the sea in the distant BG looks correct.
