    450D, Sigma 150-500 at 500mm
    1/500, f/6.7, ISO 100

    nice looking bird with a beautiful pose...I would prefer a natural perch

    nice shot, i would use a faster shutter speed and also up the lens to f8, that is where my 150-500mm is sharpest, i know it will up the iso but i would think you should be able to shot up to iso 800 with out any problems with a 450d and that light.

    @Manos - I wish this beautiful bird was on a perch :)

    @Scott - I agree f8 is the sharpest for 150-500mm. I Learnt that after seeing the results of this trip. This trip was my first trip with the 150-500mm, learning from my mistakes :)

    Hi Aatur, Beautiful bird! It seems side-lit. A fill flash would have helped remove those shadows too.
    Sharpness issue mentioned. There also seems to be some fg noise. Was this a crop, or is it because of PP sharpening?

    @Sidharth - yes this is a crop... the bird was pretty far.
