After work the other day I went to the Jupiter Inlet to see what was going on and found the Bluefish running and the Pelican, Gulls, And Terns working the bait schools close to the shore. While I like the concept of the wave breaking behind the Pelican I was wondering if others feel the bird gets lost in the action.

Interesting looking photo Don, and you timed it very well. I think a crop off the bottom would get more attention on the bird. I am on a new monitor so not sure, but I think some more sat. may help also. Dave

If anything just a tad off the bottom. The wave behind adds tons to the image. Without it it's just another pelican image.:D

I agree with both commentators, and congratulate you on the image. I suggest
making the bottom of the image just above the blue color on the left side of the image,
so that the bottom of the picture is the golden colored water. What do you think?

Don: I don't think the pelican gets lost in the action. Looks very interesting to me. Maybe just a little crop from the bottom.

What an awesome shot!! Great capture! If anything slightly off the bottom.
