Christmas Eve in Pondicherry
I am spending my holidays here in Pondicherry, India. I went out on Christmas Eve to capture the sight and sound of the city. Here is one of the many famous Churches here... this church, the Eglise de Notre Dame de la Conception Immaculee was first built in 1692 on medieval architecture by French Missoniaries. Pondicherry used to be the French colony in India. City's architecture and culture is influenced by the French during their 280 years rule of the territory which ended in 1954 with transfer of power to Indian Union. Hope you like it...
