2nd posting - an early visit to the St. Augustine, Florida, Alligator Farm yesterday.

    Key data:

    Canon EOS-1D Mark III
    500mm f/4 with 1.4X
    ISO 100, f/8, 1/100 sec.
    compensation: -1/3
    no flash.

Bright day with a challenging location and I had some concerns about settings and experimented some but am reasonable happy with the overall look, if not with some of the finer points.

    I welcome your comments.

Very nice pose and reflection. I think a bit more contrast and a bit darker would help. It looks a little flat and adding contrast without darkening slightly ay put the whites over the top. The image is quite small. It would help if you posted at the larger size allowed (800 pixels on the longest side)

Nice details and reflection. Adding to Jim's comments, the bird is too centered in the frame and the BG vegetation is a bit distracting.

Love the repost here - a superb reflection image. Agree that the subject is too central in the frame.
Not a lot you can do about the BG, that's where the bird was!
