Haven't done much lately so here's one from back in October. As well as supplying nectar the flowering spikes of grass trees are also useful perches.
Would have preferred a vertical format but it took off before I could change

    What a beautiful little subject!

Like the pose, background and perch.

Looks to be just a tad overly sharp, especially back by the tail (perhaps due to downsizing...when in your process did you do your final sharpening?)

I might tone down the whites on the perch just a bit.

This is superb Rob. Great perch, details and background. It's good to see such a clean image of this species, my images always come with messy backgrounds.

Cute little bird on a nice perch. I am with Jim on toning down the post. I much prefer this to a vertical at the same subject size so I am glad that you did not have time to switch to VERT.

Excellent techs as per your standard Rob. I also like this as a horizontal. Maybe a slight boost in colour saturation?

Like it as is Rob. You did well to capture it since you had hardly any time to get it right. Stunning cuckoo, especially in nice light. :)
