    This was a quick set-up I did for my workshop participants.
    The flowers are "Mexican Hats"

    Nice one Alan. The very dark "tuft" is striking. Those around here are less dramatic.

    Awesome photo Alan, as always.
    I'm not trying to be "that guy" but I thought I would mention that Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor) and Black-crested Titmouse (B. atricristatus) were split in 2002. I'm sure you know, just pointing it out.
    Do you notice many hybrids in the area?

    Doug, you are right! So many splits that I forget sometimes. I'm glad they split this species and have them listed that way on my site, just had a brain misfire when posting here.
