With Windows 7, Pro & Ultimate you can have Windows XP Mode . . . Out of sight, you have a new clean XP OS from your Start button, solves stuff that won't work with Windows 7 . .
Example: You need Outlook Express to create Stationery to create creations that will play Java applets & HTML creations in Email & news groups. Also old programs that quit working in Vista.
You download a Virtualization Detector which, first tells you whether you have Virtualization Technology installed on your computer with a link showing you simple instructions how to enable it in your Bios. Then when that is done, go back to Detector, and it verifies you now have it, with a link to download Virtual PC & Windows XP Mode.
Interesting.
I've only had 1 software issue. It was simply resolved by going to the Software Compatibility area of the Control Panel and using the Software Compatibility Wizard.
The Software Compatibility Wizard selected XP mode to cure the problem.
