    Found this one from my 2/09 trip to Moab.

    3 image HDR

    5d + 17-40L @ 17mm
    f/16
    ISO 100
    processed in photomatix pro and CS 4.

    A beautiful image with good detail throughout the tonal range. Wonderful light, color and composition.

    Michael,

    Good use of the leading lines in the sandstone in the FG to lead the eye into the image.

    Hey, Michael. I just returned from Moab two weeks ago. It's one of my favorite landscape locales. The light you had in this image was spectacular. I love the placement of the juniper. Did you do the HDR with tone-mapping or fusion. I have found the use of fusion very natural in lots of cases.

    I tone mapped this one. As long as you don't overdo it you can get good results.
