    This is a blur intent gone bad :)
    They were static, so I salvaged it as a regular image. Placida, Florida, Post Xmas IPT.

    D300, 70-200/4 plus 1/7X
    Shutter Priority at 1/30
    F/40, iso 160

    Love the composition Fab and excellent detail and exposure and to get them all looking just puts it over the top !!!! Love it.

    Looks pretty good for gone bad. :) I've never even tried to use f/40.

    nice recovery. Having them faced in sync is real nice! F40-an ideal macro setting?

    Perfect exposure and the look on the birds is just super. If anything I would have shot this from a lower angle but you were after something else entirely.....

    Super separation. Overall a marvelous image. If the original comp allowed I think a bit more room to the left would be useful.
