    Default Reflections

    Canon 40D, 100-400L at 100mm
    f/5.0, 1/250sec, ISO 400, Partial metering
    Flash fire in compulsory mode because of overcast.
    Converted to B&W in CS3.
    C&C welcomed as I am not a landscape photographer and this may not even belong here! :)

    Pretty cool concept. I'd wish for smoother water at the lower edge for the reflections.

    That does seem to be the main problem Jim, I guess I coupd crop it out?

    I like the thought process here Bill, the use of flash is a good idea (I do that more often now) and the B&W conversion suited to this style of image. The reflection is the problem as it is not clean.

    Thanks Robert, I was leaving this site and looked back and said, I need to come back with my wide-angle and get this again. Problem is it will be sunny and not the same effect. Later I Hope will produce a better image!

    I really like the top 2/3 of the image and your b&w conversion is well done. When you return I would look for a different angle that will allow the reflection to be cleaner, and I think you'll have a really great landscape image!
