    Found this nice looking Red Shoulder at Viera yesterday morning.
    30D, 500 f/4 IS + 1.4 TC, 1/500@ f/7.1, aperture priority, evaluative metered, flash -12/3, ISO 400, RAW tripod

    I like the light, details and BG. A tighter crop might work, too. I would clone out the barbed wire and run NR on the BG.

    Raptors on a post are a classic to me. He looks like he is thinking about his life's work here. Nice eye and emotional appeal here.
