    Hi Yves,

    You did very well to get this small fast bird in flight, particularly with a 20D. I like the in flight pose you captured, but the image appears very soft. Either the speed of the bird was too much resulting in motion blur, or you didn't quite achieve sharp focus. If you were in one shot and not Ai Servo that might explain the softness.

    looks like the bird is landing or taking off. with 1/1600 secs exposure atleast the head could have been freezed. i guess the bird is not in the focal plane 6 hence the softness...
    that said, i do understand that its never easy to capture moments like this one.

    not a keeper imo due to it being unacceptably out of focus.

    I have never seen a flight photo of one of these guys. Interesting patterns under the wings. If this were mine, I would keep trying and delete this one.
