    This is another capture taken the same evening as the previous post. The lighting was soft as the sun was setting and a great opportunity to catch these little heron in flight.

    1/2000, F6.3
    hand held

    This is a really nice capture Judy Nice compostion light and the wing placement is outstanding. Congrats on thsi one.....

    Great work, Judy! Composition, wing position, head and light angle all look very nice. I have to say I really love the feet!

    Congats on getting this image. Absolutely perfect wing position, a nice glance toward the lens and wonderfully soft light. Not sure one could get a much better image.

    composition works perfect for me.
    nice wing position & an over-all sharp image. just wish the background was more uniformly blue...

    Great capture Judy. The feet and the overall softness of the feathers in this light really makes the image. And you got the head turn as well. Very nice.

    Great pose, details and BG. The wings almost touching each other puts it over the top for me.
