    Default Black-throated Gray Warbler

Here's an image from this past spring that I hope you all will enjoy. I really hope to get some more images of this species on a better, more interesting perch this year. I'm also posting this one because one of my goals for 2008 is to improve the way I use flash in my photography.

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 30D
    Shutter speed: 1/250 sec
    Aperture: 5.6
Flash: Manual mode (I believe at 1/2 power?)
    ISO: 400
    Focal length: 500mm f/4 IS

Very nice Glenn. The sharpening and the flash works well. Agree with you in the more exciting perch:D

That is a beautiful shot, Glenn! I wish I knew how to get these guys (or any) on a better perch too.:)

What a lovely looking bird and image. The composition works very well and the BG is as clean as it gets. Very well done.
