    Good looking monarch Roger Well presented and composed Might suggest stopping down a bit more if possible for dof but good as presented Particularly like the overall look and feel !!

    I agree with Alfred. The image feels just a little bit soft - was there fog or mist by any chance? I also think you could try a bit more vibrance or saturation on the plant portion - or maybe a tweak of curves - to keep the softness but give it a little more punch.

    Nice position on the butterfly and lovely job on getting him on his host plant!

    Hey Roger, I like the colors here, it has a nice contrast between the rich color of the B-fly and the pastel colors of the rest of the image. It would be nice with a little more DOF but I don't mind it as is. Well done.

    Thanks for the comments/crits. I chase Monarchs around each year, but this is the best image thus far on Milkweed.
