Have been really busy with art shows lately so haven't had as much time on BPN or to shoot as I would like. I got out a couple times last week to shoot some new stuff. Here's a couple interlocking leaves I found in a small oak tree. Fuji S5 Pro, Tamron 90mm macro, f/32. I will post a few more from this shoot.

That top leaf reminds me of the thumb on the jolly green giant! Love the deep intense emerald greens in this image, Mike.

Great colors and comp, Mike. Almost look like hands, particularly the top one!

Mike, I love the way you take simple subjects and create beautiful and interesting compositions out of them. Nice texture, color and lighting. Well done...

    Mike,

Really like the look here. The saturated greens on your wonderful BG and sharpness in the leaf vines is incredible.

    Thanks for sharing...

That part of the top leave does look a lot like a thumb. Good eyes for seeing that ! Personally I have reservations about showing the black background. It's probably me :)

Beautiful composition, color and, as always, detail and sharpness. I agree with Desmond about the black BG, but don't know how to avoid it.
