Red Beach, Guadalcanal Solomon Islands
Not much left except a few odd pieces of metal, much has been taken and sold for scrap. This is the site for the 1st Marine Division landing and fitting weather for the visit, difficult to express emotions. Also got to visit Bloody Ridge and the aux fighter airfield, tower still stands today.

What a tropical place. Did you dive the Bonegi I and II out there somewhere? Not sure if those are off this beach, just rang a bell in my head. :) Some of the best shore-wreck dives - all WWII of course.
