So happy that the forums are back up! :)

Here is another shot of the red eft that I photographed. This one was taken a little more to the side, so the DOF is a little better though not greatly so. Let me know how you think this one compares to the other. Personally I like both photos equally!

    Olympus SP-550 UZ
    f4.5 @ 1/60, ISO 100, -0.7 EV
Aperture priority mode, pattern metering, cloudy WB
Processed in PS CS2; cropped, curves adjustment, noise reduction, cloned out the white marks on the face, and did some cloning on the BG

Prefere this one.The grass just bellow the throat is a little bit disturbing but I like the pose and dof.

Nature is incredible, it looks like a rubber frog :)
I don't recall seeing the first one, but I'm happy with this one. As you say. some more DOF would have been nice.

    Hat is on the way!

Love it, Christopher! Much cleaner than the first one and really nice angle. Exposure seems to be softer as well. I definitely think this is the keeper of the two.

Hey Chris, like the nice colors, good details on the head, and like the DOF.
