cool pose, richard. i like the contact with the bird. it seems a little underexposed. i took it into cnx2 and added some d-lighting and that made it look really nice. also ran NR on the bg and desated the reds. only wished i could save it for web. made the file too big!!! nice job.

I rechecked the histogram and it was pretty good. My Mac screens are notoriously bright, but the image looks good on my screen. I did desat the red a tiny bit and ran some NR again. Let me know what you think....

Hi Richard I think it just needed a little fill flash !!!! ... and desaturate the greens a bit !!!

Hi Richard, I love the abundance of razor sharp detail in this image, the very nice radiating colors in the BG, and I like the repost a little better than the original. That 70-200 lens sure is sweet, isn't it? Very nice post, I like it!

I really like the blue bit of background behind the beak - it's perfectly placed. And I actually like the saturation and slight underexposure of the original.

Richard, Like your second post better. As Bill just mentioned, the blue behind the beak just sets this off a treat. Great feather detail.

Hi Richard - some good advice above - for me the greens and the reds were too saturated.
Nice close up pose and great details :)

    Hey Mr. Waas,
I like the close up in your face pose...love that sharp eye...I too would suggest on desaturating the green channel a tad...aside from this, its good...
