    Default Sliver-breasted Broadbill

Almost time for them to pair up in mating season. As such they are all out and about!

Beautiful little bird. Good exposure and wonderful detail. Seems to have an unusual number of catchlights in the eye!!!!

    Hi Jay
Stunning photo i do think. The contrast, sharpnes and details is perfect. Ido like the cleraty of the whole pictue if you can say so, not the best at this LOL.
For my own point of view i would make the light points dark. here i'm thinking of the green spot in the upper left corner and the tree on the right. wouldnt make it disapeare but just darken it. And MUBY But this i do belive is a mather of view from one self, i would clone the branch from the taile and down
    but i love this shot.

What a beautiful little bird. Very well captured - especially with the SS.

Awesome image! Excellent use of flash! I would clone out some of the catchlights and the OOF branch extending from his tail.

Thanks all for the kind comments! Have reworked the image according to the suggestions. :)

Christopher : It was shot on a tripod, using 600mm IS.
