I know I'm not supposed to only complement without a critique, but it looks great to me.

I love the colors, especially the bits of russet sprinkled about like spices.

Is it me, or does this image need a fairly substantial CW rotation?

Here's what looks straight to me, but I'm not sure. Maybe the trees were bent by prevailing winds. I've
seen that happen in the mountains.

Hi Fabs, I liked this image a lot. The river breaks the monotony of the ice and the montains and the sky give the right balance to this image. Thanks for sharing.

This is your inner landscape photographer saying, "Let me out....Please!"

The snow-covered trees are great, like cakes with icing.

    Thank you guys.
David, I think I rotated the image a little bit, don't remember which way, I may have ruined it myself :)

Lance, as a matter of fact, I started with landscapes and let them for birds. Not that I was very good at it LOL

    Hi Fabs,
Nice blance of the trees on the left with the other trees and mountains. In Davids re-post.....the middle ground trees now lean right.....might just be one of the ever present bent pines.....tough winters out there and they are rarely vertical! I
d probably leave it as presented or do less or a rotation. The light snow with the textures popping through is a nice bonus. Nicely done and glad to see you returning to your roots!

Very nice to see an image while there is 34 celsius outside.
    Nice landscape.
