    James:

I like your bird, nice wing position, great feet, nice HA.

The composition leaves me uncertain. I know you wanted to show the launching tree, but its inclusion pushes the bird too far to the right as cropped. Might consider a true pano with more room to the right, or cut the trunk out and just show the branchs (don't like that as well).

Its interesting the amount of wing blur at that shutter speed.

    Thanks for sharing.

I very much like this shot.. but..always a but.. maybe add a little canvas on the right edge. I think the
pano idea might be a good one. Love it!

Love the composition here as well as the bird. Great talons and wing position.

Beautiful image Jim! The light, perch, exposure, eye contact and BG are all right on...like Randy, I am also unsure about the composition, but don't have a real problem with it. Great stuff!

    Cheers!

Excellent shot Jim. Like the thoughts above, but I think you have got it about right and done as well as any could. (played with various permutations in my mind, and keep coming back to this as presented, :)).

I really like this image as presented, comp looks good to me. The falcon is just spectacular, sharp head, good HA, love the talons. Congrats, Jim!

I like the pose a lot, the light and detail too. The tree looks a little soft and with some motion blur and it doesn't really ads a lot to the image, I would suggest croping it out to improve comp.
    Congratulations though.

also uncertain about the comp - lovely pose and detail on the bird though! I would like to see a pano with just the falcon in.

Very good timing, wing span and pose.
I would have leave more room to the right, it seems like the Peregrine was no place to fly to...

Excellent perch and comp IMHO. Love the pose although the wings are not fully extend, it just looks cool! Would consider increasing the contrast just a bit more. In any case a great shot!
