Lovely rich colours and lighting John. I think it's the tightly cropped tree on the left that might be worrying you. I don't know if it would have been possible to get an even lower angle and inlude more of the 'offending' tree otherwise a solution may have been to move away from the termite mound and us a small tele from a low angle to get more or all of the tree in.
I think that David and Maxis have it right on the composing suggestions. It is too tight a composition. The diagonal line of the trees in the image is nice and that should be retained if you get back out there.
