Hi Tim !!! Love those birds Can't get enough !!! Excellent pose and bg Picked a good looking bird Would trim a bit from top and bottom to accentuate the forward motion Would have been nice a little more room by the wing If need be you can add a little canvas !!! Big Congrats !!!!

Adding to Alfred's comments, I would do some selective sharpening on the head. What was the shutter speed?

Alex, the shutter was 1/2500. Perhaps should have used a higher f stop for better dof?
