Fabulous capture Bob! love it! I wish for a little more room above the bird however. Also the bird seems to be flying away, noted by the close wing being forward of the far wing. Still fabulous though!

Dan, in the earlier frames the birds wing covers it head and the bill wasn't in the water. The Canon 400D (and Canon 400mm f5.6 lens) is not quite faster enough (frame rate) for flight shots but is ideal as an entry level setup for bird photography
