I took this at Powell Gardens the other day while out running around with fellow photog Janet Leigh. :D This is a wild orchid I found tucked inside one of the large flower beds. I loved the soft purple and green color combination and the fact that the entire plant was only about a foot tall.

Julie, I like the diagonal flow to the BG and the way your Orchid pops!

    Hey Jules,
Nice diagonal fow on this one.....can't wait to see the f22! May just clean up the brighter green stem?....on the LH side......just distracts a touch.
PS Have to work on my radial blur.

Thanks Roman...I didn't see that. As for the image, no radial blur here...that was just the angle and aperture I shot at - it was all in camera.
