    The Battle of the Skimmers - S.W Florida

    Skimmers can really put up a nice show during nesting season. This one from this afternoon.

    Canon 40D, 400mm L @ f/8, 1/2000 sec, ISO 400, Manual exposure, Handheld, Slightly cropped.

    Incredible Image...very difficult to get the black and whites let alone the interaction sharp as a tack....

    With both in opposite directions, the central placement of the two works well. Good interaction, exposure, and both nice and sharp. Well captured Maxis.

    Absolutely great shot, really captures the moment! The placement in the picture frame works really well to accentuate the drama of the scene.

    I like the interaction captured, always makes for an interesting image. looks very well exposed and processed. Well done to get catch light in both the birds eyes.

    Nothing much to say about this one...it's spectacular! Your timing was just right, you can feel the tension. Excellent work!
