    Default Eagle Comin' Down

    I took a chance today at the marina that the sun would break through for awhile, and was rewarded with quite an eagle show.
    One of several images I made today.
    1DMKIII 300/2.8IS + 2X TC
    1/3200s f/7.1 at 600.0mm iso800 -1/3 Handheld

    Wow, great pose. Have you tried som highlights and shadows in Photoshop, the brown feathers seem a little too dark. This image would probably be even more striking in black and white.

    Rene, thank you for looking--I gave it just a touch more s/h. I was afraid of bringing out some noise so I went a bit conservative on the s/h.

    Lovely position in the frame here Bonnie. Well captured but like the others I would perfer it a bit lighter.
