    This male C.Goldeneye came up from a dive and did not like whoit saw! 500mm, 1/1600 at f6.3, iso320, aiservo, af, me 30D on BushHawk - Bob Malbon

    Great pose and reflection! I wish the tips of the wings were still at the bottom, but the water trailing from the foot more than makes up for it!! How do you like the BushHawk over a tripod for this type of work?

    T, I had to stalk this bird - last 100 feet in a low crawl - only the BushHawk could work for this. Lets me quote my standard BH reply " I have no idea where the tripod is!" Thanks for the comment - that wing tip bothers me too. B

    Funny pose and splashes. I would tone down the whites a bit. Too bad the wing tip in the reflection is clipped.

    Maybe we should all go to Florida form the looks of things. But those moments here in the northeast when we do get close are just that much more special. I'm sure you were really moving when he was under!

    Bob very nice capture here. I know how fast these birds can move. I'm still thinking about a Bushhawk to use with my Bigma.
