    Default ready for take off

    this was taken on a very dark day last fall on the Charles river
    Nikon D2X with 400mm 2.8 and 2x extender
    ISO 400 f5.6 and 1/80th

    I really like these little guys. The angle, pose and eye contact are great. I might crop a bit off the top to emphasize the motion.

    I really like the pose that you captured. Some Shadow/Highlights work, and a little bump in saturation goes a long way on this image. What do you think?
