It's Good Friday morning 10am in Sydney now as I post and I captured this in my frontyard about 90 minutes ago. Just opened straight into CS3 via ACR and no adjustments made other than my BPN vert. action and saved as jpeg.

    30D, 300/4L 1.4x, ISO800, -1/3, 430EX - 2 2/3, beamer, f/5.6, 1/200th

Hope you like. I do, I can see them through my kitchen window as I am typing....

    Happy Easter BPN friends. :)

Gracias Gus! I was spewing about the tail. I would have had to stand quite a bit further back, it is that long. Thanks for the pass! ;)

Beautiful Ákos! Outside your kitchen window, eh? I'm as green as that bird... Lovely colors, pose, and composition. A bit of sharpening and this one's a winner. Congrats on the "get out of jail free" pass too!

Hi and thanks for the honest critiques. I do really miss the tail. :( However, just a slight levels, Linear curve and saturation adjustment and minimal crop did this. :) Only did slight NR in ACR before converting to a tiff file.

Just lovely but HAH! I found something that actually bugs me..The tail doesn't but the stick coming out from under the chin does. Still stunning.

Not sure which colours are most accurate, but this is stunning either way! Lovely sharpness, would have love the tail in. Maybe a pano if the bird doesn't move (Not a reality probably:)). The first thing I noticed was the twigs from the chin too. Well done Akos.

I tidied up the chin growth. :) Jackie, they are very very colorful. I don't think I overdid the sat as I only pushed it up by 8 points in the master channel in this one. The previous was about the same but I think I darkened the midtones slightly while adjusting the levels.

    Thanks for all critique! :)

Hi Akos - fun guys aren't they - always seem to be co-operative as well. God job (Except for the Tail).
