    Hi Guys,

Sometimes "Blond" can be so attractive...
This Buzzard has gotten the nickname "Blondie" by some Dutch photographers due to it's white colouration.
These birds tend to be lighter in colour and have light grey coloured eyes when they are juveniles. Later they will turn darker and their eyes will turn brown however i think this one will stay mostly white...

In this shot "Blondie" was busy catching worms wich is one of their main food sources in winter besides mice and other rodents.

    Greetings,

    Jeroen Stel

Attractive Blondie! I like the focused pose and the natural habitat very much.

Great find and excellent exposure and pose in this image. I too like the environment that was captured in this image. He is one serious looking bird !!!

Good timing and composition, very good PP . I am astonished with the values and specifically the shutter speed - you have risked to ruin the photo so as to acheve a better f10 apperture for 600 +1/4. Still this is very impressive to sharply photograph this bird at such slow value.

This is so sharp for 1/50 sec.! A beautiful, uniquely-colored bird with beautiful plumage. Excellent exposure control. Well done.

Great angle, pose and very sharp for 1/50s. I'm wondering whether raising the color temperature a bit would help.
