    Very foggy morning on Lake Geneva yesterday, Good numbers of Goldeneye but very shy so a matter of hiding and waiting for them to hopefully venture close enough for a shot

    Canon 1D3 500F4+2x F11 +1 (cropped from landscape)

    I love mood and the reflections in this photograph. I would have tried to crop so the bird was a little higher in the frame. If you increased the brightness of the yellow in the eye it would add drama. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

    Hi DAve, good advise given above. Also, it need a bit of CW rotation, in my opinion.

    Good job on the repost! Do you like more? Try covering or removing the small dark reflection at the lower edge of the frame and see if you prefer that.
