    I was documenting a forest set on fire by a few villagers.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS lens, ISO 200, f5.6, 1/125, full frame. Look forward to your comments.

    You placed the road in just the right spot Sabyasachi. I approve of cropping the tree tops here as going wider to include them you would lose the impact of the fire and smoking tree.

    I like how the road leads into more smoke, and how the smoking tree catches you eye so well. So good comp, I might try a bw here.

    Hi Sabyasachi,
    I think you documented the fire very effectively. Gives us a nice sense with the smoldering tree on the right and as Paul mentioned.....the road leading to more smoke. I did try a crop off the bottom....just above the charred grass near the road....not much of a difference but does seem to emphasize the smoldering tree more. Very thought provoking image!
