    Default Baby Egret

This was shot last year at the Venice Rookery while with
    James Shadle.

Because I wanted to get close, I stacked my 1.4x and my 2x
    to my 600.

I like the pose and open bill. It is a bit tight in the frame for my taste and there seems to be some lack of detail, probably due to stacked converters.

Hey Doug, Did you stuff it after you shot it? I like it. Pretty darned sharp in the face with the stacked TCs... I would clone out the tiny white spot near the bill tip and the white thing on the foreground leaf.

Thanks Artie...I updated the pic. I have a better pose on when the baby stretches its neck,
but unfortunately, I moved a little to my left and the background is to busy.

    BTW...that 600 is the non/is version.

Except for my sun shots (which of course I learned from you), thats the only time
    I've stacked those puppies.

    Doug
