Back Bay NWR and False Cape SP

I am going to make my first forays into these two locations in southeastern Virginia this weekend and was wondering what tips and pointers for good locations and light folks had for me that may have been there before?

Hi, I am new to the area and birding, so I just thought I would say hello as I am interested in what is going on in Virginia from a birding perspective. As I am in the Culpeper area I am trying to figure out do I go north (upper Chesapeake), east of Fredricksburg or down toward the bottom of the Cheasapeake. Any comments would be appreciated.
