    Hey Michael,
The HDR really did wonders here! I like the central placement of the tree in the forground balancing well with the larger right FG rock and the smaller one on the left. Some may have preferred the tree on the left....but then you would start to merge the horshoe bend with the mesa.....and besides....not a ton of room to manuever in this spot without that 1000ft. drop! The soft colors in the sky and the way all the lines...crack in the rcok LRC and the clouds.....all just come together for one sweet image! Very nicely done!

Michael...Couldn't ask for better light or handle HDR any better. The comp is strong with the bush foreground adding greatly to the image. Nice job!!

I would like to see more colors in the sky like reds and purples, but who is complaining! I will take it. The bush is a nice bonus to balance out the deep canyon. Gives you something more to look at but not take away from the main attraction.

Very nicely done Michael, like the positioning of the tree and texture of the canyons. Would like to see the sky more colorful.

    Michael,
    Beautiful!

Could you tell us a little more about your HDR method? Were the 5 images with the same field of view, or are you doing a mosaic with only a couple of HDR frames?

    Michael,
Roman is right on with his analysis...
Well handled image processing. The shadows and the highlights are balanced and the mid tones are reinforced...
    Nice job!

    Michael,

Good placement on the bush and the HDR was a good choice here. The horizon looks curved but easily fixed in Photoshop using Lens Correction.
