    Here is an image of a pelican I took in the Everglages in march of 2003.

    Nikkor 80-200 f2.8

    Hi Jacob,
    I like the warm light too; the colours are vibrant and pleasing.
    I think you could apply some sharpening to the eye of the bird.
    I would love to see the whole beak of the bird; I think you should have tried to place the bird a bit down in the image. There is some dead space above the head that you could better use at the lower edge of the picture to capture the tip of the beak.

    Great light and colors. Adding to the previous comments, the white plumage looks borderline hot, maybe you could tone it down. I like the cloudy BG but the red stripe in the lower right is a bit distracting.

    Really cool image, only wish the beak wasn't cut off. Very nice light.

    very finely exposed ...
    was wondering if u have some more to show in the bottom of the frame to complete the beak.

    If you were to cut the bill then I'd like to see an even tighter crop - otherwise I'd like to see the complete bill. I like the clouds in the BG adding a bit of texture to it.
