    No not me (maybe), but look at this Roseate Spoonbill.
    Adults are not supposed to have feathered heads.

    Has anyone else seen anything like this?

    I photographed this Spoonie this AM.

    Axel,
    Young adults, "loose their hair" before they ever come into breeding colors.

    They loose the dark brown wing tips, the blue lores and head feathers.
    Their colors stay relatively pastel for their first season.

    Darth, Freak or not, an awesome image buddy. Sorry we did not get to go this Saturday. I thought about the trip you might have had all day. Take a few for me please. I feel much better.
